With COP26 in Glasgow just wrapped up, we wanted to share our role in providing AV for the recent ‘Let’s Power Change Together’ climate event in Belfast.
This hybrid event took place in October and served as a platform for major political leaders across the island of Ireland to discuss climate change and propose ‘green’ opportunities for business. An Taoiseach Micheál Martin joined Northern Ireland political leaders Paul Givan and Michelle O’Neill for this all-island climate change discussion, featuring a panel of business leaders. The event, hosted by Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce at W5 in the SSE Arena, was streamed for remote viewers and speakers in a hybrid event format.
Niavac provided all elements of AV Technical support for the event, including our LED video wall, sound and lighting.
This event coincides with Niavac’s own endeavours to deliver a more climate-conscious service. By replacing tungsten lighting rigs with energy-efficient LED alternatives and meeting the increased demand of virtual events, Niavac’s energy and diesel consumption has been reduced by over 90% in 2020/2021, contributing to environmental business objectives.
We are proud to have worked on such an important event and to do our bit in creating a more sustainable and environmentally friendly AV industry.
