As part of Niavac’s long-standing relationship with the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), we are proud to announce a recent AV installation project at the Tyrone GAA Performance Hub located in Garvaghey.
The Performance Hub has been a passion project of the Tyrone GAA for several years and despite many obstacles, the dream of having their state-of-the-art training facility finally became a reality for the club this year. The bespoke facility boasts nine multi-use strength and conditioning workstations, a sprinting/testing track, a nutrition station and kitchen area as well as a relaxation area. To further improve the training experience of GAA athletes, the Niavac team was tasked with installing a range of digital displays across the space to show information and custom training plans.
Our installation team visited the site at Garvaghey for a full assessment of the location and took time to talk with the facility users to fully understand their needs.
The final solution entailed the following aspects:
• Four 55” Panasonic Displays in the weights area for displaying custom training programmes for the athletes. These screens are equipped with wireless and HD-BaseT connectivity to flexibly accommodate laptops, iPads and phones
• One 55” Panasonic display at the cardio area, again for custom programmes, but also as a means to review and analyse game footage.
• One 50” Panasonic Display was also installed in the kitchen area for informal presentations and nutrition planning.
Moving away from display solutions, we were also asked to install a PA system in the facility. This system covers the entire gym area and features multi-format media playback and Sonos connectivity.
At Niavac we are committed to maintaining a strong involvement in the local sporting community. Our recent sponsorship of the East Belfast GAA is an example of our passion for community engagement and further cements our status as a trusted supplier to local sports organisations and communities.
